Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

What is SEO?
The SEO is basically just the art of getting your site to the top  of the search engines for whether the word that you try to rank for.
So if you have a site for paintings for example and you want  your site to be in the the top of google, every time someone searches for painting than i use SEO to get it there. SEO is extremely lucrative because google get so big searches everyday but if you do manage to get your site to the top of google for a good niche than you expect a flood of visitors and sales everyday.

What does SEO stand for:
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization which basically just means optimizing your site for the search engines so that they lead your sites to the top of their results.
And even otherwise optimizing may sound technical and complicated, be sur that its really not. In fact, to get our site to the first page of google, there is just two things that you really need to do:

One: have the words that you want to rank for on your site. 
Two: have other quality sites linking to your site.

Lets explain a little bit more. The first thing: having the words that you want to rank for on your site which we call "Keywords"; its just the words that your site is targeting so that if my site is targeting Paintings that paintings is my keywords. so what you gonna do is just make sur that you keyword is placed throughout your site, this might sound obvious but its really important because google will scan over your hole site and look at all of the words that is on that page so it knows what your site about and what words your site should be ranking for. He want your keywords whatever you can put them, he want the menu titles and your demain name.

The second thing that you need to do is: Have other quality sites linking to your site.
Basically we want to get lots of other hight quality web sites to place a link on these sites thats point to ours, the raison is quite simple and you should understand this and basically understand why some sites rate butter than others in google. You say google doesn't have time to say that site is good and that one is bad and that should be at the top. What google does is that scan every website on the internet then look on every link on every page thats out there. Then every time they sees one website linking to another website google sees it as a kind of vote for that website and gives him a little bots in the search engines.
